This next-generation Super Shrew II, from Bodnik Bows, is the perfect balance of an exceptionally smooth draw, and super powerful limbs that deliver amazing speed, accuracy, and impressive consistency shot after shot.

Our bowyers first started with the design that Ron LaClair was making at the time. We decided to improve the performance of this Shrew bow so our bowyers made some changes to the form to allow for a smoother draw for the long drawing archers. The results were very good. Then we looked at increasing the power of the limbs. The Shrew design lends itself perfectly for building power and performance into the limbs. We made the changes to the form and tested the results again. Excellent! We now had smoothness and power, but…  A bow should be stable in your hand and it should be consistent shot after shot. Once again, we made precise changes to the bow forms and tested them again. PERFECTION!  After three tries we had done it! Now the Super Shrew II bows crafted by Bodnik Bows offered an extremely smooth draw up to 34”, the limbs were exceptionally efficient and powerful, and the bows were all completely stable. Shot after shot…  We had done it. The Super Shrew II by Bodnik Bows was finally ready to be released to the bowhunting world.
